New FBC (2023) Flashing Requirements
FBC (2023) has new requirements for the type of waterproofing/flashing material required for exterior windows and doors. WDDC has upgraded our standard waterproofing materials to meet this new requirement on all projects. We will now use LAZER BLOCK SEAL +PLUS.
Kolbe American Style Hardware
Kolbe Ultra Series Swing Doors will now come with a standard Hoppe American Style hardware. American Style hardware has the locking mechanism located above the handle to improve locking function.
Origin Bar-Top Folding Window
Origin Windows now offers their bi-folds as a smaller bar-top window. This window can maximize indoor to outdoor transition areas for easy entertaining.
New Euro-Wall Finish
Euro-Wall doors are now available with an Arcadia Silver AAMA 2605 finish.

New ESWindows Products
ESWindows has announced 2 new products to help create a whole home solution for impact windows and doors. These exciting new products are now available from WDDC.
Garage Doors
The ESW roll-down garage doors are made of high-grade aluminum alloy and impact-resistant glass. Frames are available with ESW's standard finish colors as well as faux woodgrain steel finishes.

Kolbe Multi-Slide Door
There are 2 new Forgent Series Complementary Multi-Slide doors available. The 3-panel configuration carries a HVHZ impact rating for use anywhere in Florida.
Forgent Complementary Multi-Slides
New Kolbe Paint Options
Kolbe is now offering 2 new dark gray color options, Tungsten and Eclipse. These colors will be available as exterior finish options on Ultra Series products. With this change, Anchor Gray and Papaya will no longer be available.
New Forgent Casement Picture Window
The Forgent Casement Picture Window has been redesigned with a direct set frame concept. The sight lines are an exact match to the operating casement units. With this redesign, the new maximum size will be increased to 60" x 96".
New WinDoor Estate Door Options
WinDoor Estate Entry Doors are now available with louvers and ladder pull handles. Louvers are available in 20" or 28", and ladder pulls are available in satin nickel, bronze, and black finishes.
WinDoor Textura Finish Options
WinDoor products are now available with a 2605-Rated textured powder coat finish. The Textura finish is available in Bone White, Bermuda Bronze, Black, Southbeach Silver, and Velvet Gray.
New PGT SGD770NS Door
PGT has introduced a new version of their SGD770 Sliding Glass Door, called the SGD770NS Preferred View Sliding Glass Door. This door features an interlock that is half the size of the original SGD770, creating larger glass views.
Kolbe Forgent Discontinued Colors
To streamline color palette offerings, Kolbe will discontinue Bronze-exterior/Sahara-interior and Midnight-exterior/Sahara-interior finishes on All Glastra as well as Glastra/Wood Forgent Series products. This change will take effect Dec. 2nd.
Kolbe Adjustable Sill Update
Due to supplier discontinuation, adjustable sills on Kolbe Swing Doors will no longer be available with oak woodgrain. They will consist of a bronze composite sill.
New Velocity Products
To complement their Luxxe and Catalina Sliding Glass Doors, Velocity has announced their new 5000 Impact Wall is currently undergoing final product testing. This storefront wall system features 3" sightlines from the glass, and once approved, will have heights up to 144" tall. The 5000 Impact Wall is expected to be available on the next Florida Product Approval cycle.

WinDoor has announced a new addition to their product offering: The Envista Seamless Glaze Window System. This frameless window system, with max panel sizes of 48" x 72", are available in 3 architecturally-inspired configurations:

The Single-Point Sliding Door Handle Set in Antique Nickel has been discontinued by the supplier, and is no longer available.
ESWindows Paint Change
ESWindows has just announced the following paint availability changes for their product lines.
- Prestige and commercial products will only be available in AAMA 2605 paint finishes.
- Elite products will only be available in AAMA 2604 paint finishes.
- ES-5000 Casements and ES-5100 Fixed Casements will be available in both AAMA 2605 and AAMA 2604 paints
- ES-8000 and ES-9000 series products will be available in both AAMA 2605 and AAMA 2604 paints
